I Created New Slime || Life Update

Hello everyone!

Wow, it has sure been a long time (so long that we’re already in 2019!) since I’ve been on my blog! Recently, I celebrated my birthday and created slime. I know that I am a boy, but slime is a new trend nowadays so I thought I’d make some of my own! I’ve actually made slime numerous times, and now I’m going to share a picture of it with you 🙂

Now it’s your turn! Talk to me… do you like creating slime? Have you ever created slime? Have you ever had photo quality struggles? 😛

See you soon,

Reflecting on 2017

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful day, and I’m happy to announce that I am back from the Florida trip. I was actually back pretty long ago, but I didn’t have inspiration to post.. A lot of bloggers were reflecting on the past year, and I thought that would be a good way to say goodbye to 2017, and enter 2018 with a bang! Happy New Year to all my wonderful readers, and let’s see what happened this year.

                  || blogging ||

  • Started Arhan’s Avenue and it was such a good idea! Thank you for all the wonderful support I’ve had and I hope to continue for many more years!
  • Reached 21 followers, and my next goal is 50 followers by the end of the year. We can do it!
  • Started talking to Mukta about designing my blog and we will resume our work this year since she was traveling and I was a little inconsistent

I was sadly nominated for no awards, but I hope that as a blogger, I can connect with even more bloggers and get nominated/get a larger audience!

                         || life ||

I think that I was pretty healthy this year.

  • Went swimming (I’m on a swim team)
  • Ate lots of sugary foods (but don’t worry, I balanced it out! Haha 😛 )

                        || places ||

  • Florida (Sea World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Diagon Alley), The Kennedy Space Center, Disney Springs, Universal Studios (basically Harry Potter and other worlds), and Universal Studios City Walk)
  • Pocono Mountains
  • Longwood Gardens
  • Canada
  • Princeton University (tour)
  • Camping
  • Many museums & memorials
  • Beaches
  • Friends’ houses
  • Stayed at home & went sledding

                    || Creativity ||

  • Wrote some poems on this blog (hopefully I write a short story soon)
  • Made a lot of art (drawings + watercolor) and hopefully that continues

           || what I learned this 2017 ||

  • Tennis (and I’m still learning! It really is a great sport.)
  • Watercolor painting- Guys, this is big for me. It feels so good. I’m proud of the minion creation. Haven’t seen it? Go check it out here.
  • Never give up- and that applies to the above 2 things that I said for this section- in tennis, I barely knew anything before I started, but with practice, I know the rules and am hitting shots! In art, not always did my paintings and drawings turn out well, and some mistakes can still be seen in my final work (shabby parts, scratchy lines), but it’s getting better and now there are only a few mistakes, at the very least.

Well, that was my 2017!

                   The final verdict:

I would say 2017 was a pretty productive year! We did go to many places and I did learn a few more things. To 2018 and to completing goals!

                    Entering 2018 with a bang,

                                   -Arhan

Now it’s your turn: What resolutions do YOU have? Did YOU enjoy this post?

I added falling snow to my blog! + Posts I Hope To Post This December

Hey there, everyone!

Happy December! Thank you so much for all your support this December with my blog! This blog now has 20 followers, and I would like it to keep growing and becoming the best it can be. I’ve seen on many blogs lately that the blogger has added falling snow to their blog as a winter touch. I thought this was pretty cool, but I didn’t know how to do it! Thank you so much Carol for the helpful tutorial on how to add it in. 🙂 I think that it’s wonderful, and that it will look pretty with my blog design (coming soon!) until the end of winter, of course. While it’s there, I intend to enjoy it!

On that note: posts you can expect this December include:

  • more poetry posts,
  • possibly art posts,
  • and anything else I think of!

If you have suggestions, let me know! I always take the opinions of my readers so that I, as well as you, can enjoy the content!

Other stuff: I’m going to Florida in a couple weeks!

Let’s Talk!

Are YOU going to add falling snow to your blog? Did YOU think Carol’s tutorial was helpful? (I linked it to her name. You knew that, right? 😛 ) Do YOU have any suggestions for posts this December? Have YOU been to, or planning to go to, Universal and Harry Potter World in Florida?

Jacket- A Poem

Hey everyone! Happy December! I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas!!! 😉

On that note, I am very close to reaching my goal for the end of this year of 20 followers! 3 more to go! I would really appreciate if each of my readers could recommend my blog to one other person.

Now, for the poem I wrote because I know you enjoy them!

Jacket

A jacket is something which keeps you warm

and makes a fireplace in your stomach

it gives warmth to your heart like hot cocoa

Did you like this post? Are YOU excited for Christmas? Do YOU like winter? Do you drink hot cocoa? Talk to me in the comments below!

Watercolor Artwork & Tips

Hey everyone!

I hope you’re having a good week. Recently, I’ve been investigating watercolor and learning the techniques of watercolor painting so that I can make more types of artworks! Here is a minion I’ve tried to paint:

IMG_20171126_100752468

I realize that the blue part is a little messy, so I’ll have to work on that for next time.

Moving on, how about I give you some tips for how you can try something like this? (and make it good of course, obviously people)

  • Have a good water consistency- if your consistency is too thick, your brush won’t move smoothly

  • Do it neatly in one stroke; multiple strokes can be seen and look messy

  • Always concentrate– if your focus is somewhere else, your painting will turn out shabby

  • If you get frustrated, take a deep breath! You started this for a reason. Don’t feel like you have to finish your creation in one day.

  • Masterpieces take time! With each day, you make more progress and are in step closer to making something beautiful!

Okay, I still have to get my design done, so no divider yet!

Anyway… I hope these tips were helpful!

Now it’s your turn…talk to me!

Did you like this post? Favorite tip? Do you like my painting? Are you going to try watercolor? Should I do more posts like this?

See you next time,

Arhan

I’m getting my blog redesigned in December!

Hey everyone-

sorry for these short posts 😛

I promise I’ll have inspiration soon. I have actually been getting ideas ready, so you’ll see them this month! Mukta @ Design Pique Studios has offered to redesign my blog to give it a more appealing look. I am new to the online community, so I want my blog to represent my taste and be visually appealing as well. Please stay tuned on this website, and on Mukta’s design website for update posts on the same.

See you soon,

Arhan

Just an announcement-More art coming soon + I’m back on my blog for good

Hello everyone 🙂

I know it’s been a while… but thank you to all those who have continued to support my site. I do hope to reach more than ten readers, but for now, it seems enough to keep me going. I just wanted to use this post to say that I will be sharing my artworks soon. You may see tutorials or updates to the  Arhan’s Art page.

Please stay tuned! I would also appreciate it very much if all my current readers could recommend this blog to at least one other person. This way, I can reach my goal of twenty followers by the end of the year. It would be very motivating. Of course, though, there’s no pressure about that and I am ready to work with and maintain this blog. I have come back for good now, so you won’t be seeing these type of “I’m back” posts anymore.

Thanks for reading!

A Letter To My Future Self

Hello everybody! 🙂

Arhan's Avenue

Dear older Arhan,

How do you handle high school and homework? What sports are you into? Are you still playing baseball? Are you getting better at playing the guitar? I wonder if you can still remember my favorite childhood moments. You’ve really grown up! What are you thinking of pursuing? Do you have a dog? If so, what breed is he?

Sorry for asking so many questions!

From, young Arhan
